Central Ohio Diesel Dyno Day

There's a bunch of guys over on dieselplace.com that have suggested a Central Ohio Diesel Dyno Day. Everything is preliminary at this point, but coming together nicely. We're bringing a mobile dyno over to the Columbus Diesel Supply shop (Alum Creek Dr and i70). It looks like May 21st is the best day for this event. I believe it will take ~25-30 minutes for 3 runs on the dyno per the truck. Plan on starting at 9am and we'll run until it's dark. I figure there's room for 20-25 trucks if we keep them moving. Normal fees for this dyno are 85 for 3 runs, but the guy who runs the dyno said he'll give us a price break since he's busy all day. I'll post more rules and general guidelines after reviewing the past events.

The big question is how many people are interested if we have it on May 21st?

Please give them a look and let me know if they're ok.

This is good news. I'm going to miss the TS performance dyno day on the 7th to go to Stanford for a truck pull. I put a new pump, head and rebuilt turbo on my truck so I hope to smash the 400HP I did last year Is it going to be first come first serve or will there be a dyno list? Ineed to know so I can sign up

I may have to bring the old girl down there, and maybe even the truck too!

We're getting closer. May 21st doesn't suit Columbus Diesel, so we'll likely have it at the dyno's home shop over here on the west side of Columbus on May 21st. It looks like Crank-It-Up Diesel Performance will be sponsoring the some of the food. That's about all I have figured out after a few phone calls.

Darn...it's not lookin' good for my truck...takes a quart of oil to go 100 miles with the trailer or a quart every 250 emtpy

I'll probably have a fresh engine in the future, but I don't know when yet

I've never been so happy to have a junk engine in all my life
