You can add me to that list guys this looks too fun to miss.

Phil, I would still love to go for a ride, I'll bring the video camera and a change of underwear as suggested :P

Might drag my dad along too.

Does this place have an actual address that I can put in MapQuest? I'm HORRIBLE with directions and can get lost in my own neighboorhood (LOL).

This should be fun no doubt. I will be there Friday afternoon. Remember guys, we will have Pro Street (10.50 Index), Quick Diesel (12.0 Index) and a bracket class ALL with Payouts.

Dennis:

Yeah, I saw the weather reports too! On our local news station here, the weatherman showed their five (5) day forecast and it showed a 30% chance of rain, but they said that was for later in the evening. Like you said, it could change. In the years I have attended the Rock Events, I don't think we have ever gotten rain there.

We had a down pour the 1st DHRA event there in 2003. I remember standing under the canopy and Steve Earwood (track manager) tells me that is will stop and we WILL go racing.

Sure enough, it did and about 30 mins later we had a dried and fully prepped track that was perfect. I in fact laid down the Dakota's best ever 60 foot and 1/4 passes that night.

whats going on all day? What time does this stuff start and everything else. Diesel events not starting till 6pm seems like it's going to be an ALL DAY event. What do they do in the middle of the day? Is there racing at all?

Yes, "Mopars at the Rock". Lots of vintage Mopars racing. Bracket racing qualifying. If you want to race, you make those passes during the day. There are plenty of vintage Mopars to check out in the show and shine area. Many will have their trucks in the show and shine area. There are vendors selling engine parts, t-shirts, all kinds of stuff. This is a big show!
