HEY GUYS, I WANT TO GO THIS YEAR ALSO. I HAVE TWO ???'S DO THEY HAVE A SWAP/SELL MEET SINCE I HAVE PARTS FROM MY 91 DONOR TRUCK AND IS THERE CAMPING? I HAVE A 25 ft. TRAVEL TRAILER I CAN STAY IN. I WOULDN'T NEED POWER JUST SOME WATER. THANKS AUGIE DOG P.S. JOHN P I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO FILL OUT MY DTR MEMBERSHIP FORM AND I CAN'T GET TO IT. ANY SUGGESTIONS??

Yes, they do have a pretty good sized "swap and sell" meet at MATR. I know they camp at MATR but am not sure about the hookups there.
I will get you a DTR Form.

John, Hope to see you guys there. I am heading over fri night to run some 1/4 mile stuff. Hope to get some 9.60's out the car. Can't wait to see the red rocket in action.
you can stay overnight, but I don't think they have anything available as far as hook ups, but I could be wrong. We will race fri night, party, sleep in the enclosed trailer, and race all day Sat.

I am hoping,,,,,,, NO,,,,,,, make that I am not going to miss this year like I did the last Rock meet! 
I'll either take a vacation that week or I'll just work an overtime or two and burn a couple of days with one of those "I've got an eye disease and I just can't see coming into work!" excuses. 
I'm scheduled to be working the 4-12 shift all week end that week.
If they would let me park the 5th wheel at the track, I would try to come down Friday and leave Sunday morning. I'll have to check for campgrounds around there, plus the track has a number to call to ask. I'll figure something out, but I'm pretty sure I'll be there one way or another.

It would be great to see you make it down this year buddy! See if you can drag Ed along with you, as I know he would enjoy it too! There should be some good drag racing there. I asked Tim about a "NC/VA DTR Shootout" between all the our trucks just for fun and he was not too enthused about "heads-up" racing, but mentioned maybe trying a "bracket" event between us all. Personally, I like the "heads-up" format myself. I think it would be fun to do that, but we'll see how it goes. I do intend to hopefully have a "rematch" with Charles (mmmmtorque) in his modified 05' Dodge SRT-10 Viper Pickup.
