This is my first attempt at a poll so bear with me. Most members have already implied that it be a Saturday. I'm also going to use the time frame from mid June to Mid July, and Tampa/Ocala as the location options, b/c to my knowledge those are the only two cities centrally located that are will to host. I will also use the number of votes as a head count as well unless otherwise notified. I would also assume other Cummins Diesel owners that might not be members be welcome to participate in the meet, everyone please elaborate on this topic. I have several friends that might come that are not members.

It makes sense to me to stop the voting two weeks in advance on Saturday 6/4/05 at midnight (for notice to Cummins). My contact seemed very confident that they would accomodate any Date. I will stay in contact with him so we don't have any date screw ups.

I voted but it was before the location additions, but I woulda voted for tampa, which makes them even

Update for everybody. Talked with my contact today and he told me that July 4th weekend is out due to being closed for the holiday. I will let the moderator know to remove that date. Sorry guys.

My contact seems excited and wants a head count so if anyone's going to invite other nonmembers please let me know so I can have an accurate count. He's talking about possibly having things to give away at the meet along with techs on hand for Q & A, and he said he could dyno a few trucks for demonstration purposes. As far as Tampa is concerned, I don't remember who's checking into that, but if Ocala is voted in, I know for a fact that my contact will have the space and seems very willing to accomodate whatever date is chosen.

We need more votes and participants so everyone start networking please.

Tampa or Ocala would be fine, but I will be on vacation from 6-30 till 7-11.

I will be in NC for a reunion on the 25.

 

Come on guys vote, don't we have more FL members on this site? Any word from the Tampa location or should we just plan for Ocala? I don't mind either way. I would like to know in order to keep my contact informed of where we are in our planning.

I voted, but any date except between 6-30 and 7-11 would be fine for me. At this point, we should say the meeting will be in Ocala on XX-XX-2005. Who will be here on this date? I have posted links to this on another site, and have 4 people who 'said tell me when' and a couple of others 'that depends on the final date'. Plus 2 neighbors with CTDs.

 

Thanks for the help!! Sounds great. I think the sooner we finalize the better it will be for my contact to plan and get ready for the event.
