Alberta Dyno and GTG
My wife told my sister-inlaw we were going to visit them on the 17th........... I hope it is still an Edmonton GTG. I was going to bring my 04.5 to this one, but it crapped out on me again for the 100th time. What a piece of junk. The 98 12v I bought brand new till this day has not given me a 1/4 of the greif or downtime my 04.5 has.
So where is this gonna be. im not sure but i might be around from work i thats the case. I might have to get a turbo and stuff before i come though, or just try it stock. hehe. Just post a date of the where and when and time and i might be in.
Morkable,
Just a constant stream of problems. The tranny crappin out, all u-joints on rear drive shaft..... some more than once, a whole new front driveshaft, upper and lower ball joints, the u-joints on the front axle, couple sets of brakes, a few stalling issues (edge related), low power because of poor wiring and my wastegate solenoid wires rubbed through, no 4wd for a week because of crumby factory wiring, and the last thing was my lift pump crapped out on me and left me stranded on Monday. Hobbled it to Dawson wednesday night and by 9:30 this morning (Thursday) I am ready to go again. This is all in 130,000 km's. The only good thing about almost all of the above was done under warranty except for the upper and lowers and brakes, but I need my truck for work and it is always an inconvenience to go to Dawson for me. I should be good to go now for awhile.
On a side note.... I have my mom and dad booked in for lookin after my 2 little munchkins on the weekend of the 17th.

Kevin,
Sorry I haven't called yet. I'm stuck out in Grande Cache for at least another day or two. Then probably back to GP until the end of my hitch - update you if things change again.

I'm more than willing to come to a GTG thats within a 2 hour drive of Edmonton. Too bad Soda Jerks isn't still open here in St.Albert, we could have a CTD invasion night there
. It sucks that we have to have it at someones shop etc due to winter (I don't think anyone here is too keen on hood popping in sub-zero temps lol).
