I thought I would make a new post about an small meet happening on the 22nd of November.

The Dodge Truck World Alberta chapter is having their first ever meet in Red Deer at the south end of the city. The Tony Roma's parking lot at about 2:00 was the date and time for the event.

I have joined up with the DTW group whom are mostly Hemi owners, to see if the two groups could do dyno days, show and shines or drag race events together to get a grip on costs and having access to venues.

I would like to invite all the "regulars" and any new members to the site down to have an informal meet and possible chowfest at Tony's.

Hey Jase-Marc Kuzik has the contact list that we compiled in Edmonton last year. If you don't have his email address drop me a line and I'll shoot it to you. I have a list too.....I'll email it to you this morning. Marc's will be more complete I suspect as I don't have Tim Klone's for sure......but it'll be a start. Guess you won't have to email me for Marc's address once I send it to you, will ya? ;D

Tony Roma's is down by Gasoline Alley isn't it? Or is it around the Wal-Mart complex? I blew thru there today on the way to E-Town, wasn't looking very hard, but didn't see it.

I saw Mark sitting at a light in E-Town this morning. It's bizzare, there isn't a clean car or truck within a 1000 miles of the place, and there sits this polished and spotless Ram just gleaming in the sun. Heck, my rig was so slimy from the trip up, I didn't even know if my side mirrors were still attached!!!

Tony Roma's is near the Walmart complex, but a bit more north into the city, by about a block. I think its the third set of lites north on Gaetz (I am new to town)...

 

Marc's truck is always shiny-last spring when I stopped at his place enroute to the Skidoo Spring Break show he was washing it in his driveway-while mine sat on the street with 300 lbs. of ice hanging off the running boards...... :-[

Assuming nothing happens between now and then I should be there on the 22nd-have to make a pit stop at Penhold on the way up there to look at some carbon-fiber REV panels-then I can shift my focus to talking diesel stuff for the rest of the day ;D .

OK, I am still alive and would love to show up in my CLEAN truck. Keeping the truck clean has been a real challenge as my indoor parking spot has been somewhat of a construction zone over the past 4 months. If you saw me in a clean truck, you got real lucky - I'm glad someone notices though! Anyway, I will plan to attend baring some major problem.
