Well John...You know my luck....Tuesday I think I floated a valve.....I have a helicopter type noise comming out the intake that is rythmic with the miss that I have....

When I turn the engine over....and use my nifty shut down to make the engine not start....I also have one cylinder that spins over WAY to easy.....I've checked all the easy stuff....pushrods, etc.....It's not looking good.

I'd think a broken keeper, but you pulled the covers and checked the valve operation?

Email me the full dyno results and I'll make a list and post on the website so we can see the mods against hp numbers produced.

Here's a list of what I've done.....
Checked valve lash,
checked all push rods,
watched valve operation,
found the boost guage to "quiver" about 4psi at 20psi.
cracked each injector line to find the miss. Each cylinder drops about the same.
used my hands to find that cylinder number 1 is running much colder than the other 5.
pulled the intake plenum and started it....and it sounds like a one bladed helicopter that is rythmic with the missfire.


And that is the full list of who ran....and what not...Spicy's 4 runs were box off, box on...Changed the VP and ran again, box off and box on.

Other than that....I did not post my roommates Iroc....as....well it was pretty pittiful.
