Dennis:

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on the campground
information in case you or any of the other members want to
bring your "5'ers!"

Anyway here is the information for you:

"Cabin Creek Campground"
3200 Highway 17
Jacksonville, N.C. 28540
(910) 346-4808

I spoke with the Manager (Mike Yankow) and he quoted
me a price of $27.00 per night. This includes one (1) electric
outlet (30 or 50 amp), one (1) sewer connection and one (1)
water hook-up. He asked that if anyone plans to stay there
that they call ahead and make a reservation with them. You
can speak with him or his wife Sharon. This camprground is
very close to Waynes and the dragstrip.

us to "whip" some of the rice burners that are always
out there!

I have received a couple of e-mails about the cost of the
dyno runs. Wayne has set the following prices for the
dyno runs on Saturday December 4, 2004:

Two (2) runs for $40.00
Three (3) runs for $60.00

John, the price is

Two[2] for $40.00
Four[4] for $60.00
a extra run could be added for $10.00 either way.

Well, looks like I'm out of the running (literally) for this event. Mine started acting up this morning and I didn't think it was going to get me home. No power, no smoke, no boost, and the hammer feels like you're stepping on a plum. Turbo hoses are all in tact, good fuel pressure, and no leaks I can find anywhere. Air filter is not clogged and nothing looks out of the ordinary from the outside. It's going to have to sit there till next year now till I figure out what I'm going to do with it. With all the stuff I've been through on this truck this year, I'm seriously considering turning that engine into a boat anchor and going back stock. Luckily, I've got my 92 to fall back on.

Ya'll have a good time.

Sorry to hear that Joel. Seems like around here the 99's are just not able to hold their guts. Glad mine is gone.

Hey John, I saw you on this morning, I got the weekend off for the event so I will be there. Have some company coming with me as well. So see ya soon Buddy!

Hey Jared,,,,,,,
Could you bring some good DVD movies so I can sit in the back and watch TV while you're on the dyno and drag racing? (I haven't seen Shrek II yet,,,,)

Oh yeah,,,,, can ya use the On Star to order pizzas? That would be cool too!

Well I know Country Girl, Amore (Kick Start) and a few others are coming. So we may have 4 to 6 people with us. I may dyno again, if I can get a few things done before then. I went 440 with David. I am looking at a Suncoast tranny right now. Then another programmer to hopefully put me up in the early 5 range, and maybe more.

This event is going to be great! I will be there both days. This will give me the chance to meet all of you. I'm trying to get my friend to bring his 03 cobra out to the track because I'd like to see him get wooped up on by a 7000lbs truck, but he knows what I'm up too John P if you need me to do anything to help let me know. I can't wait to see your truck run. Maybe you can talk my buddy into bringing his cobra out on sunday and we can get it on video. Even better we'll get his father-in-law to bring his 87 Grand National.

let me know what you might need.
