UPDATE:
Went by and talked to the CVFD people last night. They are kinda looking forward to our next meet so looks like everything is a go for July 24'th and 25'th. I will be setting up on the 23'rd which is the Friday before so feel free to come on by Friday afternoon or so. Light refreshments will be served.

What does "light refreshments" mean anyway?
Probably be some dead cow lying around too.

All the more reason to dyno the truck! It will give you a baseline to work with should you choose to do any mods in the future.

The event is actually in Spring Grove Virginia at the Claremont volunteer fire station on the Spring Grove side of Claremont or the Claremont side of Spring Grove whichever way you want to look at it. It is actually the Claremont volunteer fire department Spring Grove station, how's that.

Its real hard to find, take I 95 to route ten east to Spring Grove and turn on 646 across from Rt 40 and go about two miles around the curve on the left. Can't miss it.

Sorta looks like this:

If it's not raining and the field is not a swamp again, the campers that wish to do so can park back against the back side of the field. I have not made it to the camp ground up the road yet to see if they cleared it enough for the higher campers to get in there. I can check that if anyone is interested. There is the lot behind my house where several can park too. I was kinda hoping the weather would be good so some campers could park at the hall and kinda keep an eye on the trailer load of tools and stuff I will have there.

And then there's always the tent in the back yard now that the 4 million cubic yards of downed brush is finally gone.

Hello
Joel any word on the campground down the road? If not I will make res. at the one across the river about 10 miles down the road. I can't remember the name.
We plan on coming up there on the 23 to help you out with what ever.
There is a slim chance that I will be able to go up to Munice and if I do there is also a pretty good chance that I may be able to pick up something for Leigh's truck before she deploys. So I hope to see some of you fine folks up in Indiana.
With all that said still count us in for 1 and maybe 2 trucks on the Dyno.
See Ya
Chris

Just sent DavidTD a PM to see if he can make it. I've basically gaurenteed him the money he needs to come this far and once I get that back, if I do, we will split everything over my initial investment 50/50 between him and the fire hall. I am busting to get mine on the machine since Sheids has done all that work to it.

Been fighting kidney stones for the last five days so haven't had a chance to do much. I would like to have several of the local members meet at the hall one monday night to talk to the CVFD people again and I need to check out the camp ground right up the road to see if they have cleaned it up any. If it is not raining, we can camp right in the field behind the hall if anyone wants to do that.

Any particular Monday strike your fancy for meeting them at the hall?
They have a meeting there every Monday at 7 PM.

Joel
