Any word on this yet? Are we still planning in July to get the fire station? We are down to 2 1/2 months so it will be coming up on us soon. Tim

I guess we need to have a serious poll to see how many would dyno and how many would show up if no dyno were available. I also need to know if anyone would be camping.
If I can get some feedback, I will start talking to the CVFD and the local camp sites also.

I don't need to camp,,, but I might pull the 5er to the fire house if the field is good and dry this year, I'm only about 20 minutes away.

I will dyno also.

Looking good so far, keep the dyno entries coming. I hope to have mine back from Scheids by then with a few miles on it and will definately need to dyno.

Joel,

Got an idea (I know, that is a dangerous thing).

Could we get a couple of vendors to provide a couple of boxes for folks to try? I would love to try an EZ or a VA C3 or something like that. Kind of a try before you buy thing.

I think someone did something like that for the NC dyno/drag day (I missed that one because of the 4 letter W word) last Dec.

Anyway, it's an idea.....

Butchera,

I will gladly pull my EZ off and let you try it out. I'm sure you will be happy...... It only takes minutes to install or remove.

I'd like to attend. Put me down for camping too. No dyno though. Just a pure stock truck here.

Your idea of camping is different that everyone elses I'm sure. While everyone else likes the comfy sofa with the AC maxed out and the dish plugged in with a case of soda or beer, you're all knee deep in mud head propped against a tree, snakes the size of electric poles, poison ivy, and collected dew drops in an aluminum can.

Hey, that's cool. We can arrange that too.

Here is what I would like to do, for those of you that plan to attend, send me a list of what you would like to do to your truck while here on my e-mail. Oil change, lube, gauges, dyno, camping, or whatever else. I will start a list so we don't clog up space on here and will send it back to anyone that requests it. I need to get some sort of feel for what and how many. I may just end up sending DavidTD a check for his services to make sure he is available and then get my money back when everyone dynos. I want to make this a good event so that everyone has a good time and I will do what needs to be done. Anything over my initial expense for the dyno, if we get that much, will be donated to the CVFD along with ticket sales and any other donations ( I don't make a dime on any of it ). This event last year cost me near $1000.00 but it was worth every penny to me. Others like Top and Scotty donated also which made it even better. I don't think Scotty will be here this year but Top is planning to attend. In fact, I was just in Lowes yesterday looking for little items to raffle off. I think Top is looking at another fire arm of some sort for the end of day raffle too. To Dennis and Tim, if you guys see anything you think would make good raffle items, let me know.
The time is growing near, let me know what you would like to do and lets have a good time.

My e-mail has changed. joelwilliams1@joimail.com

Please don't send any attachments or files, just a brief list of what you would like to do.

Joel
