Dang! What happened???

By the way Dmax, that Jeep you gave me the heads up on was already sold when I went there yesterday to look at it. Told them they need to do a better job of keeping their website updated and walked out!!! I'm just gonna put a little money into the CRD for tires and front Tru-Trac to go with the rear locker, lift, and rock rails it already has and keep it a while longer. So, I've pretty much given up on getting a Wrangler for now.

Oh yes, yes I was! I came down with the flu or something saturday and one of dads remedys is 4oz of Wild Turkey 101. Well, I forgot how smooth and flavorful the stuff was and before I knew it 4oz turned into 8 and then 8 into 12!

That should have read,

That sux! I am wasted right now so I wont bother replying for serious but you need a Wrangler!

Well, after all my failed attempts at getting a Rubicon LJ, I just decided to keep the Liberty and do a SFA conversion this fall/winter when the Dodge gets payed off and the Jeep's waranty is up. In the meantime I got some new shoes to go under it and a Detroit True-Trac LSD in the front axle to compliment the rear Powertrax No-Slip locker.

I love those Libertys with the conversions. I like that idea but I still say you need a Wrangler.

When we going to Turkey Bay? I ordered my tires for my Jeep this week. I went with 33x10.50 BFG KM2s. Everyone seems to love them so I figured I would try em out and see.

I will go to Moab when mine is a trailer queen. I like the idea of driving to the trails and driving home over about 3 days time.

Why wait that long? Most (about 90%) of the trails there are very doable in a modest equipped rig. I went there in my old white XJ when it had just a 4" lift, 31's, front locker and rear Trac-Lock in the D35........Only trails I didn't feel good about that others in my group did were Heldorado, Rusty Nail, Pritchet Canyon, Area BFE, and the "Pickle Trail". Those are all rated 8+ by the Red Rock 4Wheelers. I felt fine on anything rated below that. I drove out there and back, only carnage was a rear u-joint. Trust me, you do not need a trailer queen to have untold fun out there!!!!!!!!!!!

I most likely will be going out there for their Labor Day camp out event this September.

I'm trying to get a trail ride set up through MSJ for the next time I get off the boat. Either gonna be the weekend of the 27th or April 3rd weekend. Superlift or Turkey Bay most likely
