On a side note related to this. After reading what alot of people hear are saying about the new Dodges, and how nobody is running right out and buying one, and the fact they are priced as high as some houses........I have a good feeling that the value of the 3rd Gen 5.9's will holding pretty steady for a long time with demand for them actually increasing. Heck, I've noticed on a few online sites that the selling price for trucks like mine have actually increased by about $2000 over the past year.

It dont matter what you got for sale now days, if you find anybody with the money for it you did good. Everyone is broke!

I am still looking for a big block gasser. I have found several and made some offers but nothing in stone just yet. Im thinking about a 98 model crew cab Chevy dually, air bagged with about a 7/8 drop, a vortec supercharger and some custom interior by me!

I keep telling all my friends - if you want a diesel truck get a 2005/2006 *pick YOUR favorite brand*. 07-up w/ DPF Stinks!

Unfortunately, I let my wife into talking me into buying an extended warranty.
I'm tempted to tell them to cancel it so I can DPF-Delete sooner.

These new engines with DPFs are sweet when you get rid of all the extras. Well, all of them except the Duracrap. Its junk in any form.

Well, looks like I found a Jeep Rubicon Unlimited like I wanted down in Florida at a great price. Got the financing secured on my end, but the guy won't take it off the market for me till I get home the 23rd. Don't really blame him really. Just hope it doesn't sell before then.

Yeh, you're probably right.....only problem for me then is the same thing about selling the Liberty. Got the payments low enough to swing all three car loans till it sells though, just in case it takes a while. So, anyone wanna buy a perfectly good Liberty CRD diesel with 2.5" lift, 30" tires, rock slider rails and rear locker?......LOL!!!!!

Ebay it. I have had the best luck selling vehicles on there. Set your reserve way high and you have just advertised it nationaly for a little of nothing. People that are really interested will email you about it and you can work out a deal then.

Hey, I guess I never thought of eBay like that.....add it to posting here, the Jeep forums, L.O.S.T. KJ's, Auto Trader, and Craigslist. Do you know what the auction fees are if someone is actually dumb enough to "buy it now"? Before I put it up for sale, its gotta go into the body shop and get a few touch-ups done anyways.

You can do a buy it now but I would just set a way high reserve price. I think its less than $150 to sell it there. Thats not bad considering. I sold my black dually that way.

But you don't have to pay the auction fees unless is sells through the site though right? Cause if you get a back door deal going and agree with a buyer not to bid to win and just let the auction end, you can take it off and sell direct to the buyer. I know, it's not the most honest way to sell through ebay, but like you said, buyers will contact you through email.

You only pay if it sells. You can put a disclaimer in your auction reserving the right to end it early as its for sale locally.
