Streetsmoker, saw the truck run on the dyno today. I'll let Patrick fill you in on the numbers. Something was going on, not what I had expected, great numbers however I believe they were at the top on horsepower, but not to sure on the torque. I know Boz put out 451hp/907 torque and Mark in his 1st gen pulled down 371/880?? on torque with his injectors, turbo upgrades and water/meth. I hate to say what I had.....ohhhh, wait a minute, it's in my sig.
Street, saw your truck yesterday, i have to say i love the fact that it doesn't really look like anythings been done to it (on the outside) and even once you pop the hood, with the nitrous hidden like that. something was up when he hit the nitrous, numbers actually went down! Patrick thought maybe the wheels spun on the rollers when it hit... I tend to agree something just didn't add up. BTW, i love the sound of the Phat Shaft 62, man that thing can sing.
Hey fellas,
Great to meet all of you and enjoy some clean Saturday Fun. I was pleased to say the elast with my runs. It was my first time on a dyno, and had jitters at first letting out to early, but then figured out what I had to do.
I am gonna make a post in the 3rd gen performance section to post up the dyno graph and to give Bob and Marco some feedback on how the Smarty turned out some good numbers on a stock truck..
412 HP / 820 Torque that was my best
stock run was 224 HP / 479 Torque not to bad of an increase I don't think

John, it sounds like it's time to call Hoss and get one of those concrete bed liners. The added weight might keep that truck spinning and giving away HP.
I wanted to know how much hp you had now with all the extras.

street, got ya freaked out with the HG stuff huh? the truck got a little hot on the dyno. overflow bottle got full and let out a little mess since you don't have a hose coming off it. a comment was made about the HG finally letting go. i guess anything is possible but it was said in jest as far as i took it.
Ok Street, The HG seems to be ok. Like mentioned, it got warm and puked a little coolant. Not big deal. The only problem I have is the numbers. I will discuss them with you later. Did anyone figure out how to open the dyno files he sent us? I would love to look at the bar graph and see what happend for real. When you coming home Street?
okay, save the files he sent to a folder somewhere on your desktop. Download the dyno software "winpep 7" that he mentioned in his email. Once it is downloaded it will be in your start menu bar. Click start/ then click "all programs, and it should be added in that bar as "Winpep 7"
now, open the winpep 7 program once it is installed, and then it runs like any other program. Go to the top toolbar, and click file, then open. Then go to that folder on your desktop when it asks for the file you want to open, and open any of them you want. You can opne them all at one time, and then you can go back and delete the ones you don't want by going to the box at the top with the file names in it and clicking it, which will highlight that file, and then hitting delete... Any questions, just call me.. 912-288-2768

Come on guys, lets get things going again so we don't let this capter die out. I hope to get a couple new members on here that will give me a run for my $$$!!!! Two guys on the Memphis racing forum contacted me about the truck, and one has a 2001 Dodge running 11's and the other a Dmax deep into the low 12's. Hopefully they get on here and sign up.
