It is great to see that you are moving past the alst one DMAX, just remember, don't compare the new one to the old one, and don't talk about the old on, unless she brings it up...

With that said, uncle sam raped me on taxes, looks like it might be a little longer before I can get the trans done. I was so hoping for a couple grand back. You would think if they take out $14000, you would get at least 2 back. ugh, then the state of Aladama, I give them $2000 and I get $6 back from them.. sheesh.

I ordered my SMARTY today, and it will be (was?) shipped from a site "in Tennesee". He said it would probably be shipped today.

I've been driving the truck since last Saturday, and my foot is getting better every day. Anybody available to help (mostly, I'll just watch and gopher tools) drop my fuel tank and install the Vulcan Draw Straw? This will be an indoor project, at my hanger at Dewitt Spain Airport, where I also happen to have a well-stocked refrigerator and Coke machine.

BTW - My hanger is not heated, but I do have a couple of little space heaters.

 

You get that Smarty and your foot should start getting better very quickly.(since you won't be trying to push it through the floorboard any longer)

 

With the Smarty installed, I won't get as much excercise, because I won't have to push so hard.

I'm gettin a good workout now, pushing so hard on the go-pedal.

 

Make sure the stoppers are all adjusted up!
