So I take it you've been to Summertown's New Year's Eve bash? I've been there a few times, it's only a couple hours away, so I go for a good days' worth of trail riding then come back home.

Summertown, I have been there a few times. New Years rock there. So what up with the next meeting? Johnathan called tonight asking who was going to BTS for his open house. I am gonna try and make it up there Saturday. Who else is going? I know Brian has nothing to do with the Dodges, but its gonna be worth it to see all the trucks and to meet a true legend. He know how to build them JUNK, I mean FORD transmissions. Jonathan loves his. Let me know who all wants to make the short trip and we will get a group together and head that way.

For those who dont know, Johnathan pulled his Powejoke up there to his place with my Dodge. Brain asked him what was up with that? He said you got to do what you got to do I guess. He sent me a Powerstroke T-shirt that has his logo on the back and the powerstroke logo on the front. I wear it and im proud of it to.

 

I gots more. You want more? Glad to see you roaming around Rad. I'm in the process of getting our next meeting together. It seems we may have some boys from your area interested, so The most likely places are my hometown or Jackson, TN. I figure if we split the distance between the greatest amount of interested areas, we should get more attendees. I'll be posting a poll of choices in the next few days. The day is pretty much set as May 6th, cause there is a pretty big diesel roundup going on in AR the weekend before, and I think a few of us from the Memphis area will be going. So all we need to decide on is the place.

Wow, I really love this sies delay system, cause i just got off this thread when I recieved your PM. I get done writing you, then bam your post shows up. Glad to see you found us. Like I've told the others, I keep this thead going pretty regular, so keep an eye on it and there ain't no telling what we're liable to talk about.(as I'm sure you've seen)

I can't belive all the new people who've popped up here in the last few days. It seems for a long time it's basically been just me and Dmax.

 

WOW!!! We have been getting a lot of new blood wanting to get involved in our chapter, so I figured I should capitalize on it and go ahead and post a poll as to where we should have our 2nd official meet. The day is set so all we need to decide on is the place. There are some guys from the N. Ala area who seem interested along with a couple from the Nashville area, so I'm trying to help split the distance, hence the choices I listed.

One more thing. If there are any guests who would like to attend but can't post because thay aren't members of the site, just e-mail me direct.

Count me in where ever it's at, but Jackson is about half the distance at 2 hours for me. A little easier on the pocket book.

I figure we'll let people vote for about a week to 10 days before we decide on the place. If we wind up choosing Tupelo, I just figure we'll have it at my house. I've got plenty of parking space, and we could make a little party out of it or something.

I just hope that everyone is ok where ever we hav it. I think we will probably do a sort of rotation so that the meets will be closer for everyone eventually. Maybe this time tupelo and next time Jackson and maybe one time around B-ham.

 

You read my mind Dmax. That way we get as much coverage as possible, and when someone from the other areas decides to start there own chapter, then we could have a chapter vs. chapter thing. I have a pretty big garage, so we could also do a wrench session if someone needed it, and parking up to about 25rigs also. The most likely spot in Jackson would be the 4x4 & van center there.
