Hey Dmax did you hear about Brian of BTS having a dyno day/truck pull in Lead Hill the weekend of April 28th & 29th? I'm seriously thinking about going. I wouldn't call it an official chapter meeting or anything yet, just something I would throw out there. I'm gonna get in touch with Sam about a dyno day the 1st week in June, so I'm thinking our next meet should be in Jackson, TN. There is a truck performance/4wd shop there I'm sure would be a great place for us.

I'll be contacting them in a couple days about our possible plans pending a vote by the club on what they want to do.

I'm back!
Danged topic subscription emails quit working again, then I was off for a couple of weeks of job-related training.
I'm back now, getting caught up on the bills, emails, and various internet chat forums.
Just put this in your signature block but leave out the *'s :

My buddy Johnathan told me about the BTS open house while he was up there. He said Brian said for every body to come on up. Didnt matter if you drove a real truck or just a powerchoke we were all welcome. I might consider that trip if you are.
Cool beans. I have to get my high volume Walbro lift pump installed before/if we go, or else I won't get a true dyno reading. I'm glad to see Prospector back. Things get kind of lonely around here with just me and Dmax being the only regulars who post often.

All right, the gloves are off! Time to do this to your head
. By the way, where is that picture at? It looks strangely familiar like around Moab maybe. Hey Dmax, if I didn't know any better, I would have to say our little DTR Chapter cult is growing!!!

"Around Moab" is close enough. That is at the sand dunes between Moab and Green River. My map is packed (moving), but I think it is White Wash or something like that. On the Latitude-40 "Moab West" map, it is a the top left corner, just below the map legend.
This one is at the parking area at the bottom of Pritchet Canyon.

Poison Spider trailhead is straight across the river from here.

Yep, thought so. Know the area well. I was supposed to wheel there last week, but the weather was cr@p so I didn't go. I went to the dragstrip while I was in PHX instead, and wheeled a trail called Predator. Last Sunday, I got to do some very rare snow wheeling in the AZ desert. Here's some pics.

I'm also new here and would like to meet ya'll at the next event. I live just south of Munford, TN and work in Memphis. I've had my truck for about a year and I like it more each day.
Steetsmoker, it looks like that was a fun wheelin trip in AZ. I need to get my Jeep back on the trails, but I do tend to stay a little closer to home.

We're glad to have ya. Help us spread the word that there is a club like ours and everyone is invited to join and attend, we don't have any restrictions on ownership of any one type of vehicle, just a general interest in diesel power. If you haven't allready done so, you can go to the beginning of this thread and get caught up on a little of our history thus far. Now you know about the chapter, don't be a stranger. I do my best to keep this thing up to date.
By the way, have you been to Superlift ORV Park in HotSprings, AR? I go there pretty often.

I'll won't be a stranger.
And no I haven't been to Hot Springs, it is one of the places I would like to though. I just graduated from University of Tennessee at Martin last May and we would usually go to LBL or Sumertown. We had a trip to Tellico scheduled last summer but something got in the way and I couldn't go.
