What, I post a new meet-n-greet, and all of the sudden the action on this chapter dies!!!???? What gives? Is everyone affraid they're not pretty enough to go out in puplic or something? Anyways, like I said the poll will be open for a week to 10 days to allow as many to vote as possible. However, it is hard to keep this thing very democratic if nobody sounds off. So stand up and be counted!!!!

 

BTT. Come on guys don't make me use a cattle prod!!! Let's get things rolling, so I can lock down a location and organize the meet.

 

I voted for Jackson just becouse it is closer to me. However Streetsmoker's house might be a more relaxed place to have a meet-n-greet. So I don't figure the place would make or break whether I'm there or not.

 

I voted "other", but I've always been the rebel.

I'm more likely to make it to a meeting if it is close to home. Right now I've got too much stuff going on to make it an all-day trip. But then again, I can't even promise I'll be there if it IS in Memphis.

As soon as we find buyer for this place, we are moving!

For all those coming from Memphis, it's pretty much the same distance to either location. Tupelo is right at half way between B'ham and Memphis, so the guys from Nashvile are the ones who would have a long drive if we have it there.

I'm glad to see everyone showing up and letting there voice be heard. I contacted about a dozen people who over the past few months at one time or another showed interest or contacted me about the chapter. So this should be our biggest meeting yet. About the location in Jackson if/when we have it there. I found that the Natches Trace State Park is just east of there & easy to find right off the interstate and would make a great location to have a BB-Q/picknic type meeting. Just thought I'd mention that as an option.

 

Cool, finally some intrest!!! This should be a good one if everybody holds up to it. Yall just tell me what I need to bring as far as tools go. I can load up the cart and bring it all if need be it.

 

And I got a trailer if anyone needs one after we bomb it . Hey Dmax, you know if this vote winds up being a tie, it's the vice pres. job to break it just like in Congress when they can't decide anything . So far, the voting goes like this:

Yeah really, he won't even pick a place that's nominated. It would wind up being MLK Park in downtown Memphis or something . Just make sure you guys pack heat. But, no matter where we have this thing, just remember to prepare for the following:
