Hey y'all! Did ya miss me?
In case nobody noticed, I've been offline for over a week now.

I took a short trip on Friday, Oct 20, and just got home from the hospital yesterday.

Man injured in fall down elevator shaft
A 50-year-old man was in critical condition Friday after falling down an elevator shaft in the Shrine Building condominiums on Monroe about 5 p.m.
The man, who fell 25 feet, was taken to the Regional Medical Center at Memphis.
"He was in a great deal of pain," said Henry Posey, Memphis Fire Department division chief.
It took emergency officials an hour to get the man out of the shaft using a "slow, but methodical" approach, Posey said.
"He's very lucky to be alive," he said.
The 14-story building was renovated in 1981 to apartments, then in 2005 to luxury condos. Firefighters said they were not sure Friday evening how the man fell down the shaft or whether he lived in the building

The rest of the story is kind of long, and typing is difficult (thanks to good meds). I have PLENTY of time to chat though. DMaxEter has my cell # if anyone wants to hear the rest. I just don't want to post my phone # on the internet.

Man Prospector Im glad to see you are in one piece. Mydad feel about 25 feet when he was youger and broke his back. He had soft dirt to land in. I cant imagine what you had for a landing pad. Them Newcastles didnt have you thinking that was a runway did they.

Man Tim, sorry about that.

Guys, its been fun on the site here and its been fun driving my Cummins truck around, but my presence here is going to get very limited very soon. I am gonna have to cut off my internet service for just a little while I hope so I can get back on my feet. I will also be selling the truck in my signature if anyone is intrested or if you know of anyone that is intrested. I will check in from time to time from work and I hope what ever may come of my recent situation that I can still be a part of your group. I will be more than happy to help you guys out in any way that I can if you just give me a call.
1-901-601-0444

If you want details of this change that seems inevidable just give me a call to. Please guys, call me and let me know what is going on over here on the forums.

Streetsmoker, I guess I need to resign my position in the group as vice president. I know there are some great guys here that can pull together some great meetings so a replacement wont be hard to find.

I will be checking in for the next few days as I will have service still, but after this weekend you will notice a lack of visits from me most likely.

God Bless all you guys and thank you for allowing me to enjoy the friendship that only a group like you guys could have provided.

Patrick.

Well Patrick, that not good. I guess I'll have to give you a call and find out what's goin on. If you need anything give me a call, I'm serious whatever it is, I'll be mad if you don't. You've helped us all out and I know I'll return the favor as I'm sure others will. If I had the money I'd buy your truck and sell it back to you when you were back on your feet.

You may not be the Ch. 31 tech line any more, but I'm calling you anytime I have a question. You ain't gettin out of that this easy. By the way I still haven't figured out how my trailer grounds to the truck?

And just becouse you might be without a truck for a while doesn't mean you can't hang out.

Keep your head up. It will all get better.

Yeah I know,

There's no ground pin and everything works even if the trailer isn't hooked to the truck. So it's not grounding to the ball, not that I'd leave it that way. Everything works so I haven't tried to figure it out.

I can not believe it is not grounding to the ball. If I was in a tight, I would run it like that, but not the safest or best way...

I really should figure out what's up with it. Last time I ran it I ran three hours at night and can see the front corner light on the trailer in my mirror (it was pitch black and rainy and that's all I could see in the mirror) and it never even flickered and the brakes worked flawlesly. It has to be grounded some way, when I tested them a few days prior to that trip I didn't hook up the trailer just parked close and pluged in the lights. I need to repack the bearings in a couple of weeks, I'll look into it then.
