Well Happy, you got me on that one. I can't think of a single reply that won't get me into trouble. I think I'll just leave this one alone. I hope your transmission(s) quit slipping soon as you might bend something if it(they) don't.

Holy Crap, I stumped him.....hahaha

Yeah, the OD on the trans is slipping real bad on SW#7. I am gonna have to take the SMARTY off for a while, prolly till after the first of the year. Once I get all of christmas bought, then I can start spending some money, or using a credit card...

Now I would be willing to help you with saving that tranny. I've got a Christmas present with your name written all over it. It's called a...
B.ig
R.ed
I.nput
C.ontrolling
K.ap

Designed in affiliation with the true southern redneck's sense of imagination and necessity, the B.R.I.C.K., is simple, yet functional. It's also infinitely customizable for any vehicle using whatever hammer you have lying around. Did I mention how easy it was to install? Simply place The B.R.I.C.K. under the skinny peddle on the right, apply a moderate amount of duct tape to hold it in place (about a half a roll should do) and there you go. No more worries about the tranny slipping. Now you can run your Smarty wide open with no worries. Should I send you one for the GF too? ROTFLMAO

you see, here in lies the problem... as mentioned before, the temptation even with the SMARTY installed is to great... If some Duramax pulls up by me at a red light, and goes...zooomzoomm, I will crush anything below the skinny pedal on green. Think of a car crusher....

I guess I could start a rent a smarty in my area....

Well Happy, I would be your 1st customer, but last night my tranny developed a weird chattering/popping sound similiar to the sound a leaking header makes, but only with the conv locked in the beginning of 2nd gear under full throttle. I'll let you guys know more, but the tranny may need to go back.

Just got off the phone with him. Looks like it is an exhaust vibration transmitting thru the tranny. The exhaust seems real loose, so its Either the hanger that bolts into the tranny bellhousing ar maybe the turbo starving for air and popping, as I just noticed the indicator on the filter housing was in the red after a full throttle run. Either way, not too conserned bout it now!!!

Hey John, glad to hear you're back in the driver's seat again. Nice to be home again, huh?
