Hey Dmax, if we are going to BTS's thing on the 29th, I was thinking of staying over in Memphis that Fri. and going to the Midnight Madness Drag night at Memphis Motorsports. What do you think? That, or go down to Riverdale Dr. where you say all the street racers hang out and see if anyone wants to play.

 

Well, it looks like we will be having the meeting in Tupelo at my house. Like I said, there's room for parking about 25 trucks, and I have a big 2 car garage, for anyone who wants to wrench on their stuff. To make the directions as simple as possible, we'll meet at the service station on the north side of HWY 78/Auburn Rd. Exit 90 at 10:30. Then around 11:00 or so, everyone can follow me to the hacienda. I'll be providing homemade chili, and gumbo for all those who might be hungry, or there is a great family cafe about 200yds from the house. If the group wants something else, just speek up, and we'll plan accordingly. So, bring a chair, and come have some fun and good conversatin just hangin' out with a bunch of diesel heads. Hope to see ya'll there.

 

Thats cool. I bet if I am going to drive to Lead hill in the early AM that I will be at home instead of at any races. I got to work till 7:00 the night before and I plan on leaving at the lates 7:00AM. Just tell me where I need to be and what time.

 

Why drive? You could ride along with me.

I found a new drink that is great. Killians Irish Red. Wow. Its amazing how smooth these drinks can be. I may have had a little much tonight by accident.

On a lighter note, I just filled my three paint ball tanks and managed to get 32oz in the 20oz bottles and 22 in the 12oz bottles with out the pop offs popping. Freeze the little bottles and heat the big bottle. Worked great.

I know I already asked, but just so I can remember, what wrenching are we gonna be doing at the meet so I can bring the appropriate tools??

I know Abbynormal was needing some things done, and I need a couple little things welded on the Jeep. As for anyone else, I don't know. Maybe they'll sign in and let us know.

I guess it does appear as though I bailed to keep the wife happy, but I'm not much of one to pass up a free weekend getaway with the wife, we haven't even had a chance to go on our honeymoon yet, but that's another story. As for the next time I would like to move my pyro pre turbo as the P.O. put it post. I am in need of borrowing a tap.

 

I got one of those you can use. Hey Dmax, have you had the chance to put in that needle valve for the fuel gauge? If so, let me know if it works. Abbynormal pm'd me sayin that the stuf he's getting he's going to try and install before the meet. He was wanting to try the free govornor mod to allow it to rev higher though he said. I wouldn't bring the whole tool chest, just a goos asssortment if needed. I don't have 220 wied, but I can get one of those adapter plugs that goes into the 2 110v sockets of a conventional wall plug. Will that work? Let me know.

 

Never seen one of those adapters before? I can take care of any drilling and tapping needs also. Just keep me up to date on who needs what.

 

Hey Dmax, I dont have my guages yet but I was wondering if I could persuade you to help me put them in at our next meeting or some other time. It'll probably be egt and boost. I can pay in beer or cash, take your pic.

 

Lets do it. Next meeting is gonna be the best time for me. Im pretty booked with wood flooring and something about a wedding or something next week?

 

I wont have the guages for this saturdays meeting because I went ahead and ordered intake and exhaust, which should be here early next week. Maybe we can figure out a good time to do it after the meet. If your gonna be real busy I might just take it to mid south diesel because im really not good with this kind of stuff. BTW im just doing boost and pyro, I could probably handle the boost but I'd rather leave them both to someone who knows exactly what they are doing. thanks
