Don't think so, at least I don't think they were part of DTR or our chapter.

looking down in the "other forum" it looks as though the driver may have been a DTR member. Some of the guys were familiar with him. This truly is s shame.

Its a shame, and I feel for their families.

But, I will not be attending the funeral because I never met them, and I do not condone drinking and driving. They made a choice, and luckily no innocent motorists were hurt. Even the passenger made a choice to get in the truck with his intoxicated friend, and its a tragedy that both these young men are gone now.

My statement is not meant to disrespect anyone, and I hope it is not too far out of line.

ive seen that truck around, sorry for the family but this is the prime reason why someone like myself and many others with no accidents and only a seatbet ticket is paying high insurance prices.

compassion much? two young men died and all you can think is how it somehow affects your wallet?

Sad news indeed. Never good to hear of a loss like this, but this is only made worse considering the time of year.

May God be with his family and friends.

nope i feel no compassion. if my mother was in the line of fire of a 8,000lb truck driving my a reckless drunk 19 year old and was struck and killed. i think you would agree. Lucky only those too were killed.

Some guys on my local forum knew them...one kid was close to both of them apparently...

Jason and Mike were both real good friends of mine. Used to hang out everyweekend.

Both of them drank all the time with us. Guess they just had to pay for it this time. They were on their way back from McDonalds going about 100 and didn't make the turn. They were tanked though, no skid marks or didn't look like any attempt to even try and make the turn.
