There is nothing we can do about it. Mother nature is going to make it as hot as she wants. Just try to make the best of it. Does no good to complain about it, that will not change the weather. I was outside in it yesterday and will be again today. Oh well, it happens.

You know its hot outside when you're on a bike and can't go fast enough to cool down.

80* in my office - this weather sure finds the weak spots in the A/C systems. To all of you working in it - stay hydrated my friends and you'll survive - been there, done that (worked in it, lived in it, recreated in it for whole year).

Spent the day in a ashpault parking lot working on a trailer laying on my back. I feel like I was in a frying pan.

Anyone have a hydraulic press I can use tomorrow to press a gear off and then back on to a new shaft?

Well i put on a new Accumulator in the truck and Glenn said the AC is working!
Didn't need a new condensor or liquid line. Thanks to Glenn for taking it to work 3 days to empty the Freon and refill it. That stuff is $10 a can.
I have 4 presses at Geiger, if you can get it over here today i can do it. Might be able to do it Sat. Don't know of any plans yet.

if you are doing the cam shaft you are better off freezing the cam over night and heating the gear int he oven for 30-60 and it will drop right on.

It would be difficult because you need to cool the cam and heat the gear. Maybe freeze the whole thing then heat the gear around the cam but in the process you would heat the cam too. Might be best to just press it off.

This is why I asked. I am not as dumb as I sometimes may seem.
