Just don't know that much about the Nitto tires. I was looking at the Goodyear Silent Armor but cannot find them in our system in the larger size. I'll have to call goodyear and see if they make them
I have the 285/70 17 Grapplers and am not too impressed with them. The BFG Rugged Trails I had before performed better for tower than I think the Grapplers do, they feel soft when the weight is put to it, I can really feel that camper pushing the truck around, didn't have that feeling with the BFGs, just didn't like the tread on the Rugged Trail. I'm thinking of going to BFG TA/KO's. I don't think I'll be buying Nitto's again. I got about 70k+ miles out of the BFGs before the Nittos which I have a bit over 40k.

I run the nittos now in a 285 and they are a nice tire for towing. but this was also coming down from a 35 Mud Tire to a 285 AT tire.

My boss has the 285/70/17 E rated, 8 ply bfg all terrain on his f350 and it tows solid. 40k on the tread with about 60% left. You can pressure them up to 75 psi too. My 315/70/17 bfg all terrains were rated for 50 and ballooned a little on the tread with 55-60 psi. Running my bro's stock 3rd gen rims and tires until next year when I put the E range 285's on it. He is looking for another 315 tire to go on the black h2 rims.

Rick, how are your nitto's wearing? My bro was looking at them in a 315.

Why dont you keep your ignorant comments to your self. If you are here to make fun of others trucks than you are in the wrong site. See your in the group of people that make the diesel world look bad. Not everybody can be as perfect as you.

a 6" body lift is retarded as can be. a 3" is bad enough, but 6" makes me think that whoever installed isn't the brightest bulb in the pack.

Sorry I am not as cool as you, driving around smoking people out thinking I have the baddest truck in town with a chip and stack.

I am not here to make fun of trucks, I am here to tell you that a 6" body lift is not only dumb but unsafe.

Thumbs up

Hey Chris,
I'm running 285/16's E-rated Hankook DynaPro ATM's on the Max and I'm very pleased with how much better it handles when dragging a 13k+ lb. 5ver around over the old D's.

Boots i missed the 6" body lift thing. That's a definite no no. What are 2 3" body lifts stacked? You should fix it before something bad happens. There's way too much side loading on a 7" long bolt. Something's gotta give.

O i know. She getting a 6" suspension soon so. The body lift will be coming off. Plus she got the truck that way. And to be honest i don't know if it is really 6" cause i parked my truck next to hers and it looks like only 2" taller. Iv been meaning to actually check. Im going to check when i get the exhaust fixed.

Bigsingle...Sorry for getting so offensive to you. Didn't have a good day. So i apologize.
