Probably over $500 in fines, automatic reckless driving, automatic mandatory court appearance. (probably ending in suspension).
I got clipped on 95 in Baltimore Co., 87 in a 55, $280.00 in fine, 5 points.
Count your lucky stars.

Well i never knew how secure Fort Mead was until yesterday. I was working putting in piping for fiber-optics. Just trying to get in is a big deal.( If you do
one thing wrong they will start get on ur case like no tommrow.

Pass by ton's of "enforcment vehicle just sittin on the side of road. 3 Miles away form entrance.
Pull up
get out
open all doors and toolboxes
" Sir shut off ur vehicle now"
"move away from the vehicle.
Watch a dog go through every part of the truck.
give licene.

After all this, and we get to work. It was every 2 min that a cop(mp) came throught the area.

Thought i should share this. Even though u proboly know all this.

I give MP's **** every time I go to any base around here and VA. They want you to open up the toolboxes on the outside, but when you do, the odor of a "Drug" or Bomb" materials leave the vehicle. Doors shut, better chance of finding the odor. The only base I go on that is smart about this is the FBI Building in Langly, VA. Top Notch Guys down there, which is where I learned this is a better way to search.

Plus they have some REALLY Cool 08's Ford Superdutys Diesels all decked out for emergancies.

At least they try to be secure, Ft Mead has always been a pain they like to search anyone that doesent have a DOD sticker even if you have a CG sticker. On my base we have coast guard police theyll let you on with any photo id. my old CG base would just wave you on in no questions.

Well Boots yesterday was 9-11 after all!!
The most through security to get in is at NIH. They search your truck with dogs, you have to go through a metal detector. The dumbest is believe it or not the Pentagon. You go through all the security, search truck with dogs, then you have to drive back out onto the highway and city roads to get into the power house.

Classifieds do work - eventually!

Don't give up on DTR classifieds if you've ever put something up and it didn't sell. I relisted my old VA box 3 times and finally got a nibble. Got a hold of the guy (Turbo246) and the transaction went flawlessly! Also an FYI - I no longer own my VA box if anyone ever wanted it. Just wanted to give kudos to the classifieds, they work.

What body style is it? 02 is like Scotts, 03 is like Leonards. They switched body styles between 02 and 03.
