my trans on the 12v was shuddering before it started slipping so bad it wouldnt make it up the driveway. i was just going to replace the TC and valve body untill i pulled the pan and found about a pound of metal.

good call. i cant say enough about daves customer service... i was having an issue with the valvebody that originally came with the trans. sent me a new one to my house on his dollar. had brett at TNT who is listed as a dealer/installer on goerends website do the replacement of the valvebody... dave picked up the tab on the cost of the swap as well as sent a ticket for the pick up of the old valvebody from brett. great guy, def stands behind his product. gets my vote..

I'm saving for the Goerend's standard. I should never need billet shafts and I never tow heavy so it should do me just fine and should last me until the body falls off.

I talked to a Steelers fan today at work and he said; "The Steelers lost last night as far as I am concerned, they should never have won the way that they played."

hey keith i remember looking at johns front band when we did a few bandages on his tranny and there was material missing from the band so it might be better to go with a fresh tranny build than just a tc and vb

unless you sell the truck and need to get it inspected then take it out. there are no emissions and no yearly inspections so who is gonna check it?

I'm going whole tranny - Goerend standard build. I broke the news to the wife last evening and told her to start saving. She's not too happy as our van just went in for IAC issues (doesn't like to idle) and I "adjusted" the fence with my buddy's camper the other day which I have to pay to fix as well. Oh well, it's only money.
