I don't think you can go wrong with anything from Goerand.

Finally going to get around to installing the new head unit in the truck tomorrow if anyone is interested. The final piece is coming via the big brown truck today. Music server, navigation/gps, DVD, and bluetooth hands free phone all in one package. Anything to make the commute better!

HEY MDDTR33 chapter!

Although i'm not an official member (I guess I need to join).. I was wondering if anyone local had the SMARTY JR?

I am looking into getting one for my rig (07 Mega 5.9L). I hear they blow alot of smoke though even on the lowest setting..... Looking for better MPG and alittle more performance.

I am also looking into putting on a PA 3 inch Body Lift. Reasons for this are:
- low cost, no need for a suspension lift cause I dont plan on wheeling my rig in the woods.

- I have a lifted toyota (Suspension and BL) with no issues... I just want a better stance on my Dodge but didn't want to do the leveling kit. I want the 3 inches all around instead.

Any advice ???? I Live in FOREST HILL ( near Bel Air, MD )

Thanks!!!!

Don't do the body lift! They suck, look like crap and diminish your load capability. What size tire ya wanna run anyway? You can do a 2" leveling kit and run 35" tires all day long.
Leonard will have a 3 inch lift for sale soon. PM skynyrd.

Thanks for the info...I'll send ya an email.

I saw a few pics of Dodges with the PA body lift on them and they still look good IMO. Of coarse they have suspension lifts on them too but I have been running a 2inch BL on my 4runner for 4-5 years now with not one issue.

I really want to keep the stock suspension intact on my megacab. I am only looking for a slightly higher stance mainly for looks as it would be a bit higher than just a leveling kit. I would probally throw 305's or 315's under it after alittle more investigating. I just didn't want to spend that amount of money for a offroad suspension lift when its not going to go in the woods.

The biggest add on feature I want is the SMARTY JR. Looking for a local best price and some feedback on it. I am hoping they are increasing MPG as that is my biggest wish.....

Thanks!

you can get a set of 2" leveling blocks for the front for like 75 bucks and 2" blocks for the rear for right around 100 bucks.

Not a bad idea but.... don't the front leveling kits mess up the ball joints on these rigs after awhile? to get another 2 inches on the rear I would have to stack blocks...not good IMO.

Great looking ride...(has susp. lift though), but looks good with a BL.

i would really reccommend looking at the leveling kit. that alone makes 33's look like peanut wheels on my truck. i also have the tow package which raises the rear a little, not sure what youre equipped with. come to one of our wrenchin days and we usually have an assortment of trucks you can check out. body lifts are for non-full size trucks in my opinion.
