Newbie from the high desert

Just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. I'm the proud new owner of a 99 24 valve 2500 4X4, long bed, crew cab. Actually, for the past 15K when I recently stumbled upon this site. It's basically stock other than a lift kit and bigger tires. The truck currently has 133,000 miles and appeared to have been taken care of and I have the history of the truck back to 75K. Looks like it had the injector pump replaced at 110,000. It was installed at the local Dodge dealer, so I can only assume it was replaced with a stock unit?? Seems like normal maintenance after that. While replacing the fuel filter, this site was more than helpful with bleeding the system then determining the lift pump was out. Thanks to the search option here, the repair was straight forward and fairly easy. I now see the need for a fuel pressure gauge, if not a full set of gauges. I consider myself a good wrench, but this is my first experience with a Diesel, so I have a lot to learn!! Thanks to all who makes this site the wealth of information that it is and I look forward to the day that I am able to contribute to newbie's like myself.
