Newbee Ontario Canada

Hi,
I dont have a truck yet
Plan on retiring pulling our travel trailer in 3 years so need to get alot of practice and look for a truck that is the correct size for the trailer and hopefully wont guzzle too much fuel
So, my thinking currently is a RAM 2500 with a long box.
Hi, everybody

Welcome to the forum. One thing to consider is the size of your trailer. If it's too big, not that the Cummins wouldn't be able to handle it, but the 2500 may not be able to pull it safely. If it's a bumper pull, then you will more than likely have nothing to worry about and a 2500 would fit the bill just fine. If it's a fifth wheel, then depending on the size and weights, you may be better off getting a 3500 DRW.

Post up some questions in the towing section. There are a lot of very knowledgeable members on here when it comes to towing and having the proper setup.

Again, welcome to the forum.
