New guy and truck!
I was looking at 06-07 Chevys, and the best deal I found was a '07 with 14K miles for $32K. Well, we decided to go another way.
We are getting a new 08 Dodge Mega cab dually. SLT trim, and comes with most options but leather, NAV/DVD or sunroof. Got everything else. Black ext/Khaki interior....get this with every known discount to include my military discount the price is $34,527. The MSRP is over $53K, so nearly 35% off. Plus they are paying fly me out there to pick it up this Saturday. Oh, and gave me nearly a point lower interest rate than my favorite bank.
My Brother-in-Law called Dave Smith Motors in Idaho to see what they had left... and they had this. From there, the deal was made. Very nice to deal with and no hassle up to this point. Hats off to them.
We drove the new 6.7l Mega Cab here in town and I liked it better than the 08 Chevys. Just got to get a slider hitch and a bed extender now.

P.S. I was, and still see myself as a Chevy man, but I have always been a Cummins fan.
