New Guy from Southern California
Howdy all, I'm new here so I thought id introduce myself since I've already been posting in the forums for a day or so and people are probably asking themselves, " Who the heck is this guy? "
My name is Roger, I'm 27 and was born and raised in Southern California (Palm Springs Area, Coachella Valley) I'm a lover of all things Dodge. I had a 98 1500 4x4, then an 06 1500 HEMI 4x4 that was the most modded truck i've ever owned, then recently (November 08) I bought my first CTD. It's an 08 2500 Quad Cab Short Bed 4x4 with the TRX4 Off Road Package and the 6.7 CTD with the Auto Trans. I've also owned a Jeep Rubicon so my truck is the 4th Mopar vehicle i've owned and my 3rd truck. I've been interested in diesels since driving my friends dad's 98 CTD back when I was in high school. Made the mistake of buying the HEMI in 06 based on the price and that I fell in love with it when I saw it and drove it. I have never driven a truck that has the power my new truck has. I love every minute behind the wheel, hearing the turbo whistle ( Cant wait to mod it to hear it even more) and the looks you get from people as you pass them by like no tomorrow in a big ole heavy truck!
I know some people on here. Donnie who ive never met and then Ed (BigHorn06) I also met some people from this site that I met at a GTG in Cerritos a couple years back. There were probably 10-12 CTD's there from this group. Matt (Seabee) organized that event.
Anyway, enough rambling for now. Feel free to say Hi and I look forward to making some new friends here, attending some GTG's, and learning more and more about my obsession, The Cummins Turbo Diesel!
