New to the Diesel world....

Been lurking here for a while and when I got serious about picking up a dodge truck I signed up. This forum has already been a great help in finding what to look for in a purchase. Im looking forward to learning from you guys and really appreciate having a place to go and find answers to a lot of questions I have.

I picked up a very well used 1994 single cab dually yesterday with 300,000 miles on it. Tranny was just gone through as well as a new radiator, starter, and injectors. The thing is really straight but has a real bad case of the infamous paint peel. will be one of my first fixes right after the dreaded dowel pin check / fix and replacing a belt tensioner. All of which I have already read about here. Great forum and look forward to talking to you guys in the near future.

I own a Hot Rod shop in San Diego so I cant have it looking like it does very long, especially sitting in front of the shop. I think I am going to do a two tone Hot Rod Flatz semi flat paint job to it very soon. Got it to pull the Crawlers to the desert so I hope it works out well.
