I live near Edmonton, Alberta. I have a confession... I like dodge trucks. This seems to be the closest to a support group that I have found, although there seems to be a lot of "bad" influences (Ok... my wife is nearby...).
My truck is an old plain jane 94 2500, the only option (I'm not even sure if it was/is an option) being air. I've since added cruise control. The body is getting tired, and in need of modernization/paint. It has over 400 000km on the clock, has had one moose for breakfast (pre-me), and I've had it for just under 300K.
I'm starting the list of things that will be happening to my truck to make it more to my liking. First will be a body job, and the carpet will be leaving, replaced by spray in bed liner. The seats will be leaving, replaced by? I'd like air ride and leather, but... I haven't found an air ride kit for the 94 truck. The front axle is going to get redone, probably with components from EMS. I'd like to get a MPG display like the newer trucks (posted a question on this in the 12V section). Although my truck is 4X4, it doesn't go off road (it tries to emigrate to China at the first signs of soft ground, and I am not interested in mudders etc.). I have the manual tranny, and I'm thinking about the splitter, but... low on the priority list. I will also be putting a flat deck on it, as the box is beat to heck!
That is a good chunk of the list, and about me...

Welcome to the site!! I like the sound of "support group" a whole lot better...even though this support group keeps you addicted
....with all that work you're going to do on your truck you might want to think of getting your wife a Dodge if she gets addicted too it will save money on flowers and candy! Take care and have fun!!

Welcome. It's good to see another Alberta guy on the site. Glad you're not giving up on your 2nd gen truck just because it's got a few miles on it. It'll probably work just as well for the second half of its life as it did for the first.
2'nd half? I figure it isn't even through the first half... yet :-). Great truck, great economy, and (mostly) cheap on maintenance... compared to payments on a new truck, anyway... Gotta love the 12V.
Would like some of the features of the newer trucks, but not at the expense of my 12V.
