600 w/ 5" exhaust and introduction

Hi all,

I'm new to diesel's and new to this forum as well. I have a turbo "fetish" so I picked up a new '04.5 600 the other day. Since I work for a large tire dealer I already put my 315 BFG AT's on (can't beat $370 out-the-door for all 4 w/ everything) and had a spray in bedliner installed yesterday.

I've owned turbo cars for sometime now (Twin Turbo Supra, Eclipse GSX, Subaru WRX, Audi S4 bi-turbo, etc.) so I'm a sucker for boost. However, I'm getting fatter and older so I decided it was time to stop with the cars and move to something with a little more room.......so in the Dodge came.

I've read enough to know it's overkill but I like the idea of the 5" exhausts but I can't seem to find out if the Rip Rook's is avaliable for the 600's??

Also, any do's/dont's that I should know for the first few thousand miles with the truck?

TIA

You wil "NOT" like the NOISE from the 5". I have a 5" W/ muffler and it is not something you would like to take on a trip, especially if you are towing something. trust me-the D___. thing is annoying. Straight 4" all the diff. in te world and really no gain, possibly some low end loss W/ the 5er.straight pipe it and put a 5" tailpipe on . Nobody will ever be the wiser , if they don`t crawl under your truck. tha`s my story-and i`m stickin to it!

5 inch on 600's

Afternoon,

I can't tell you how many customers we have sold our cat back system to after they have already purchased a 5 inch system. Just too loud etc so they tell us.

Did they have 5" straight pipe or did they have a muffler? Just curious
