hello ,new to dtr
Hi guys just bought my 3rd dodge diesel saturday its been a year since i sold my 03 it was the worse vehicle i ever owned but back in a 12 valve and feeling good i look foward to this site ,i was starting to have diesel withdraw.

Welcome to the website Clinebarger! Like you, I like my 1996 Dodge CTD 12 valve the most too!
I have owned four (4) Dodge CTD Pickups including my 2006, the newest one. I will be honest with you, I have had a fair amount of trouble with that truck, but the 96' just keeps on rolling. Just turned over 300,000 miles!

I really don't have anything against the CR Trucks, but I never thought when I bought my 2006 that I would have some the problems I have had.
Especially the Death Wobble and all the "codes" the thing throws.
And you know from being a 12 valve guy yourself how dependable our trucks are.

Not trying to get people wound up im sure there are good cr trucks but not the one i had ,didnt even have a 100 grand on it and had to replace all but one injector, driveshaft (70 mph vibe) door seals, cp3, lift pump, alternator, compresser, hvac contol head, driver window switches , and all sensors in tranny, and thats forgeting some things.

Not to worry Sir! Phil (Mc Mopar) and I are are real good friends. He lives just north of me in Raleigh, N.C. and is an Officer in our NCDTR #18 Chapter.
