Just wanted to say hello. I just bought a new 08 and am new to the BB. I had a 96 Ford psd previously and have a diesel Samurai, so I guess I have it in my blood. So far, I am loving my truck, especially the ride and the fact that it is quiet! Thanks in advance for the help (I'll ask a lot of questions) and the patience (I am slow sometimes)

Are you running a VW in the Sammy?

 

Thanks. Yes, I put a VW 1.9 TD from a 95 Canadian Passat in it, with Toyota truck running gear. I have the IP tuned up as high as I dare right now. I need to install the intercooler next. With 35's, I can do 90 mph on the highway. A lot better than the 55 hp stock motor.
