Cool Greeting from Kanslahoma!

...or is that Oklahosas? I live in Oklahoma City and work in Kansas. Anyway. I've driven L10s and M11s in buses and have wanted a B5.9 ever since Dodge started putting them in. I'm hoping to become educated here so I don't regret my first purchase. A '98 3500 SLT 4x4 dually (5spd) caught my eye. 270k miles and they only want $8995. So my first thought was "what's wrong with it?" Haven't made the trip to Tulsa to look at it cuz I wanted to know what I should be looking for.

Glad to be here.

Phil

Welcome Phil.

You certainly came to the right place. Look around the second gen 12v section to get an idea of what things work and what to look for in your future truck.

If you update your User CP click 'edit profile', you can fill in the area for your location, so you won't have to keep telling people where you are at.

Thanks, Phil (& Rick). I like what I see on this site. Wish my wife's car had a forum overflowing with info like this one.

Yep, every time I go looking for info on any of the other vehicles in the "family fleet" that I work on I realize how good we have it on DTR.
