I purchased my "to me" new truck 3 weeks ago. My bride of 20 yrs and I went out just looking and fell into a pot of gold!!! A Dealer had this nice truck. A 2005 Ram 2500 Quad Cab Laramie 2WD. It was loaded with everything including the kitchen sink 115k and the engine compartment was clean like new. The dealer gave me the previous owner's #. I called him. Reason for trading is that he wanted a dually. He liked the truck. Took it for a ride - supper smooth and quiet. Price ?!!!!? ----- $13,550 before trade-in. They gave me a written quote!
The head management quy came in and asked just how serious I was. I already had a pen in my hand. He was hoping I'd back out. After the deal was done he showed me the N.A.D.A value for the truck ----- $24950. Somebody made a BIG mistake.

Any Hoo, I'm riding in style and comfort for just half the price!. Everything checks out perfect except the almost bald tires. I'm getting around 24 mpg according to the computer, but I don't think that is accurate. Haven't done a hand calculation yet.

Will be making a few mods to increase mpg and to monitor Psi,temp.
