Enjoying My Ram CTD

Had been reading and learning for quite a while before signing up.

Thanks for information shared here, it was very useful in helping to find the right used truck to buy.

I've put 5000 miles on the new to me Ram in the last 3 months while enjoying a few long trips through the western US.

Good year and trans. Enjoy!
Throw a used Northstar popup on there.

Thanks.

It took quite a while to locate a long-box, manual trans truck in good shape and for a reasonable price; the Laramie trim was an unexpected bonus find. Going to love the heated seated seats, as I do the ones in my Magnum.

I am working through a few of the common issues for a 120K mile truck: brakes, upgrading shocks, heater hose behind/under turbo, and HVAC doors. I enjoy doing my own work as much as possible so it will be some fun/frustration, like all of the cars and trucks we love.

As for mods, I don't plan to hotrod the truck, but I am thinking of eventually some steering and front end stuff, and eventually a programmer/controller to wake it up just a little while otherwise remaining stock.

Cheers,
Bill
