i was just getting one for the turbo noise. With the ****** whistler one seems like the hot air from motor would get into the intake. I was going to go with an s&b or afe stage 2

If you want some turbo noise, take the silencer ring out...

yea but wont an afe intake make a big difference as well? Also is the factory intake wiht the baffles removed restrictive at all

The AFE will give you sound.

Removing the baffles is just the cheap way... get a cool blue hose...

I have a ****** intake and been very happy with it so far. My Attitude monitor also shows intake temps. During the summer it shows around 20 hotter than exterior temps. I dont think thats bad at all.

Thanks. Got another question. I just ordered a hell bent 2.5" leveling kit, do i need to get the sway bar drop links for it?

Also, who makes a 1" block for the rear, i still want the truck to have a slight rake to it.
