5.9 on biodiesel

I run my '93 dodge duelly flat bed with a cummins 5.9 on homemade biodiesel. Because it will get down to the teens in winter I have added heating to the fuel tank, filter and a heated extra filter. It runs fine on this fuel and has for the past four years. I only run the big truck for picking up drums of WVO and methanol used to make the fuel. I also haul hay and feed with it. Occasionaly if my solar well pump is down I will haul water. For running around I use a '84 Isuzu pup also on biodiesel.
I live in N.W. Arizona, in Dolan Springs.

There is quite of bit of discussion on here about biodiesel, and it sounds like you should be able to answer some questions that people might have.

Welcome to the DTR. I have heard of guys running 100% used engine oil and tranny fluid in the 12v's. Good luck this winter.
