Zerk fitting in u-joint

Does it matter wich way the fitting goes (toward's main shaft, or away) as far as ease of getting to it with a grease gun, once the shaft is installed.

I guess maybe it's easier to ask has anyone not been able to get to it afterward's.

I'm putting in a whole new shaft, and I have 1 greasable u-joint that I think I'm going to go ahead and install,,,maybe.

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Generally toward middle of shaft. Have better chance of greasing later.
