I went outside and did the APPS recallibration. Drove it at 35, 55, and hard to 100 and it never hesistated once . Drove strong and fast.
Now - If the truck starts this up again - can we come to an edumacated guess it is the APPS? I would think so but I have been mistaken.
Anything is better than another injector pump!

Usually with the CMP, the tach will fail and that's the biggest difference. The problem with the APPS is that you can't take them apart and clean the contacts. Otherwise, the thing would probably last forever. I'd like to find an old one and do it like my lift pump repair. Take the thing apart and see what it would take to put it back together. Or take it apart so I could see where to drill a hole to spray some contact cleaner in the thing.<br><br>Glad I could help. Smoke
