Hi i hope you all can help me out, last night i was driving my truck and everything seemed fine, i parked the truck and like 10 minutes later once i was going to leave it wouldnt turn on!?!?! I just stays cranking, I had just filled up maybe like 2 hours before and my batteries are good too, i checked all the fuses they seem fine and well it just cranks like if it aint recieving diesel? Do any of you all knw what it could be or what i could look into i need to get my truck back n runing asap!! Well please help me thanks

p.s. My truck is a 98 12 vlave auto 4x4, odometer reading 180XXX, and well i haave the parts that are in my sig except for the valve body and 3k havnt installed them yet. Please Help

 

check the fuel shut off solenoid that it is pullin the lever all the way up or disconnect it and pull it up manually to see if it starts. That would help to isolate it.
Change Fuel lifter and prefilter screen also.

Turn the key on, but don't try to start the truck. Raise the hood, and push the fuel cutoff solenoid into the run position. If the solenoid stays in the run position, the pull-in side of the relay is bad. If the solenoid does not stay in the open position, check the plug for power. When the key is first turned on, 2 wires should be hot; the pull in coil and the hold in coil. As soon as the solenoid opens, only one wire should be hot. Note that the pull-in coil is hot for a very brief period of time. Good luck.
