wiring prodigy brake controler

wiring prodigy brake controler

just bought a 2003 3500 slt ouad cab ho six speed,srw ,were is a good place to put the brake cotroler?I'm looking at the storage pocket under the radio,cd, how do you drill a hole thru the back of this spaceto run harness wires ,or can it be removed to do this?Is there a better place to put the prodigy controller.first diesel i ever had,so far love this ram. pat

I mounted mine on the knee bolster to the right of the steering column... ;D<br><br>it's a good location if to ever need to grab the manual lever to brake the trailer... <br><br><br>Tony

Thanks,this is a measure twice,cut once deal,that's where I had it on my ford.Checked my differental per this web site,and it was a quart and a half low!Had dealer fill to proper level &amp; tell service dept to check new units( sure they will) Thank's again,Pat

I mounted mine under the dash, between the parking brake and the hood lever. I'll have to lean over a little to grab the lever, but that's OK.<br><br>Chris
