Ok in the mornings when i start my truck to run off and do my 700 miles for the day when i start it i get this massive White smoke and it runs like crap after it sits there for a few mins the smoke clears up and it smooths out Plus for some reason as im driving down the road if i get around 55 to 60 mph it seems i lose my throttle until i push it hard down then it take right off like normal this is when its not doing this kind of stuff it runs like a scared Vette anyone have any input i would love to hear it.<br>Thank you <br>Littleman (up down I10)

White smoke can be from a blown head gasket OR raw fuel in the exhaust. If you have an injector sticking and dripping you might be getting raw fuel. With the rough idle at crank up, I'd be inclined to think you have an injector sticking or partially clogged.

Take a look at the waste gate hinge under the turbo, make sure the snap ring on the arm hasn't come off and allowed the pin to fall out. If it has, the waste gate will flop open and closed whenever it wants. That happened on mine and it did similar to what you describe. ~~ DW

Thank you all for your input i have been driving it this way for about 3 weeks and havent wanted to put additives in the tank since i do 700 miles every other day i thought the fuel would be clean since it doesnt sit but i got a large bottle of lucas 3 days ago and put it in both tanks pulled a load out of cali going up indio hill i felt it take off like a scared Vette and it has ran like new ever since hopes it stays that way
