if it's anything like my '01 it's a simple 10 minute job that I did myself.

it's simple to replace water pump.... two bolts hold it on , it would take longer to replace coolant than changing the water pump

If you can't get to it till the weekend it is not the end of the world. A small leak tells you the seal is bad. I've had two fail. The first I drove from Los Cruces to Phoenix and changed it in the Cummins parking lot. The second I drove from northern Iowa to central Iowa and again changed it in the parking lot. If there isn't a Cummins place near you, Case tractors also use Cummins engines and their dealers are everywhere.
