Water in Fuel?

Last night I Pressure washed upunder truck and around engine and my water in fuel light was on. I pushed the drain thing to clear it on the bottom of the fitler and light was still on so i figuerd it might be wet and it would go off. It didnt however I finally got it to go off after pushing in the pushing on the bottom of the filter drain and disconected the plug and repluged a couple of times and it went off until thisevening its back on. Do I really have water in fuel or is there some way to reset sensor? It was a new sensor about 6months ago. Any Ideas before I buy new sensor?

Yes, you should see it come on for a few seconds after the key is turned on.

Very common for the light to come on after washing the engine.
All it is is water in the connector. You can wait for it to dry naturally or speed it with compressed air. If you want to prevent it in the future coat the connector with dielectric grease before plugging it back together.

That happens whenever I pressure wash mine. Infidel is right its water in the connector. If you disconnect the connector it will dry out a lot quicker and the light will go out.
