I'm going back together with my valve body on my 48re after a trans go shift kit, and everything is going good. I have one question, most of the 1/4" check ***** are plastic, but there is one metal one, where does the metal one go? The instructions don't talk about metal and plastic check *****, they just talk about size. I remember on which side of the plate it was on, there are only 2 check ***** on that side, both 1/4", one metal one plastic. Any ideas?

 

I got it, I remembered playing with one of the check ***** with a magnet before I took the valve body apart. It's back together, and working awesome.
