If you are facing the engine compartment, up under the rear hood seal on the firewall there is a larger plastic vacuum line just to the left of the master cylinder. It appears to be hooked to a small valve or filter at the firewall...can you tell me or better yet take a picture and show me where it leads to

found it....it was the main line from the vacuum pump
