I drove my truck all day yesterday with no problems. I get in it today and nothing. My first thought was batteries, checked the headlights. And they are bright. Started making some other checks and found that when the key is turned to start I have no power to ignintion wire on the starter. My question is where/which relay is for the starter? I don't get anything from the starter when the key is turned. I do get the LP whine. Any ideas other than what's stated? Please help I need the truck to get to work.... Thanks Mitch

 

relay is in pdc under hood should have diagram under cover

 

you can use your blower motor relay i think. same thing. try that and see what happens.

im pretty sure they are beside eachother.

 

Try starting it in neutral. Could be your shifting linkage out of adjustment.

 

Thanks for the help.... The relay is in fact in the power distribution panel, and it does have a diagram. I didn't think to look under the lid for the location. I did have a blown fuse, changed that and still nothing. I went ahead and bought a starter, got it in lastnight and fired right up. Again thanks for the help.
